Hello. How to choose bottles and teats? I intend to breastfeed, but hey, we do not know what the future is made. For a newborn, how many ml is needed? I heard about the bysphenol. How to be sure not to buy those bottles that contain? About the nipple, it seems that there is a carcinogenic texture (silicone rubber or I do not know.) Is there any new nipples to do? In short, tell me what you know!
Thanks!
Good evening, my daughter bought in pharmacy bottles that I find very good. http://www.dodie.fr/produit-biberons-le-biberon-initiation, 2 Guaranteed without BPA, I found the perfect .. They completely dismantled, perfect for sterilization … she breastfed and they are ideal for babies who breastfeed in .. for small additions that have been set aside, etc. … then the transition to formula if you do. I do not advertise, but now I think she chose well. For doses, if you are breastfeeding this will demand … it will take what it needs. Bottle feeding, your pediatrician will tell you … and early motherhood advice will help you get started.
I took for my two MAM Dodds enfatns without bysphenol and anti-collic. I took 4 large and 2 small.
In the end, it will be the baby who will choose! I have Nuby, they love them but I can not find it convenient because they sink to the level of the bottle which is composed of two pieces of silicone that should fit …. it does not hold tight … I have several pairs of friends who use tipee Tomy and are very happy.
Hello, I too used the "Dodie" mentioned above for my first child: the only drawback is that the plastic bottle at the bottom of flexible wear relatively quickly and suddenly the life of the bottle is limited. Those I bought then (Advent) are much stronger, I still use them for my second child (I bought some 4 years ago!) Http://biberonavent.fr/biberon-avent/biberon- Advent-ergonomic-Newborn / Today there are models without BPA. I also know followers of glass bottles, personally if I had bought for my children there were many breaks!
Hello yes we no longer know where to head … I bought glass bottles when they were small (because the bisphenol is mixed with milk when it is heated …) rubber teat for my son and silicone nipple for my daughter … because one can not stand each other etc.. And greater when they want to drink alone I bought plastic baby bottles shatterproof ss bisphenol is marked above.
I do not think there have still bottle with bysphénol market. I bought her Nuk bottles at the very beginning he did not like too much, then he prefers Doodie Mom (he's 7months and I use those still there). take many newborn teats that are anti-colic, it helps! later, it will tell you that baby if the bib and pacifier you bought him suits him or not, they always have the last words the little angels;)
In Germany, 98% ¨ breastfeeding women. This means that the probability that a woman has no milk (an argument often advanced in France) is almost zero. 2) for ml: is it that the sheep have a watch and a balance? A baby knows better than parents that the books and doctors, how much milk he needs. And the advantage of breastfeeding is that the baby needs more milk the mother produces more, it is balanced naturally. Not to mention the practical benefits: anytime, anywhere, if the baby is hungry, just give him the breast, it's ready. 3) a breastfed baby is almost never sick. Ask yourself why doctors breastfeeding up to 3 or 4 years. 4) psychological benefits for the baby and mother. No bottle can replace the body contact. When I see how France is anti-breastfeeding, it makes me nuts! One is the country least lactating THE WORLD. (And the reasons are historical: during the First World War, women were. (And the reasons are historical: during the First World War, women étémobilisées in factories, and the bottle was presented as patriotic and was provided with all the virtues. Add to this the French normative bias, "a Baby needs to drink so much at such a frequency, grow so many grams per day, "and you have the explanation). Conclusion: do not ask questions of materials and quantities, do not listen to those who never breastfed, and therefore do not know whereof they speak, and you will not regret a single moment!
What kind of world that bottles …. I am a childminder and I know that each person has his mark. There are nipple-like shape of the breast of the mother (nuke and Advent). if you do not want bisphenol takes glass bottles, anyway, it is prohibited now in plastic bottles. Wary now when even some stores childcare is old inventory and do not hesitate to sell them. If there is no BPA is specified on the label. we also know that glass bottles are not sterilized in the microwave. Information before you purchase a product and if you want to sterilize baby's bibs.
I had Dodds. It was good … except the bottom of the bottle anti colic who screwed so badly, let in all the milk … must therefore be careful. Otherwise, I use Advent: no problem. Solid, without B., easily handled by me or baby. For nipples, bb has never wanted anything other than silicone. She refused and then the other bottles that I could give him.

Let me explain: I had nothing and 1 week after it came back a little. Peut'on breastfeed the baby one week after the last time (in the sense is that this milk is still good) when I stopped breastfeeding or is it recommended?
I'm no doctor rather take advice from a specialist but is that milk can "turn" when it is in your body. why you want to breastfeed again if you stopped?
Of course the milk is still good, unless you have taken specific drugs? By cons, if you want to breastfeed again it will often put in during the early days to boost production.
Breast milk does not turn … it will always be good if you ask the question if you want to continue to breastfeed or not, it has adapted well to the formula … how many months it anyway? yourself can be passed in the period of milk down the first quarter, it warned me to the mat. that was common and could continue to breastfeed even if nothing much came out, it may take a few days and come back full blast .. I had the time but being forewarned, I went and put him in much more
at least until you have taken drugs, of course, that your milk is good, it is secreted when it comes out, this is not an old remnant of a previous feeding might be outdated. if your baby still wants to breastfeed (not sure after tasting a bottle but can not be sure until you try) and you want it, why not. there may not be enough for the first feeding, but by stimulating the production (with a baby at the breast so) it can return safely. FYI, almost one year after stopping breastfeeding was still sometimes able to express some milk so I could have, after soliciting resume breastfeeding.
Of course it's possible! If you really want to breastfeed, we must persist until you get! you can restore a lactation stopped after several weeks even months! (Yes, words of Dr. Marie Thirion, a specialist in free Nursing!) It must not be very easy but you have stopped as there is a little over a week, it must be done fairly easily. Simply, pr boost lactation to have a huge desire to breastfeed and dêtre understood and assisted by your partner if possible, it plays jtassure! We must stimulate the breasts every day, at some length, to draw milk or massage areal (jte advises pulls away milk), to stimulate lactation. Know that you must especially ed perseverance and motivation, but jte really want to do because it is WONDERFUL
Well, two solutions: – if you want to start breastfeeding, you can of course do so, your milk will "turn" not because it is made to order … it is always very fresh! Provided that your bibou agrees, of course, and you did not take drugs to cut the lactation. – If you do not want to start over, "one last time" will not work very well because: – 1 / restimulate you risk your lactation and you return to producing milk which you want to quit. I doubt that you only feed sufficient to cause flooding but it's not going in the direction that you want to do, 2 / you'll surely very little milk at that feeding, since you had nothing , you might frustrate you both, you and your baby. It would take several feedings little success before it comes back …

one doctor or gynecologist can answer you
The answer depends on the place: – in poor countries without access to milk or no industrial water system to reconstitute milk: breast feeding permit. In these circumstances, either the mother is on ART and HIV transmission through breast milk is a negligible risk from complications of stopping breastfeeding … either it is not on antiretrovirals and anyway the risk of transmission in utero or during birth is much, much higher than that associated with breastfeeding – in industrialized countries: breastfeeding not recommended because of risk of transmission through milk, non-zero even under antiretroviral
the doctor aurra the answer but from what I understand yes (with medication required)
Interesting question, I found this page on Act Up Paris all risk of MTCT. Their expertise in HIV is recognized. In summary, they recommend rather the bottle, the risk of HIV transmission through breastfeeding is 10-15%. HIV-positive mothers should be monitored and receive specific antiretroviral therapies. In some cases it is recommended cesarean delivery, birth by vaginal delivery (natural) is highly contaminating.

I wanted to breastfeed my daughter but having no end of boobs, I am obliged to take my milk. I admit it's pretty compelling, especially at night because I wake up with super heavy and painful breasts, it's pretty tiring. Anyway I was wondering how moms are pulling their milk only when they must leave? How long can you keep milk? In what you taking him? @ For the nipples I bought but I was advised not to use too often because it stimulates only the tip of boobs … and it frightens me a little not know how my daughter drinks
not his year I was born not seen his court in my life
In my opinion that no, he must consult a pediatrician to find the solution and to avoid further contamination.
I have some info that might be useful: You can absolutely get your milk in advance and store in refrigerator 24 hours and 1 month in the freezer (note the time and date on the bib). You can take it in a bag refrigerated (with ice packs) if you go with friends or on weekends when frozen and reheated in the bottle warmer (no microwave). If you just shoot, I suggest you use it quickly. It degrades very quickly as soon as it's hot (4-6 H max at 20 °). There are bottles like these: http://www.bebe-au-naturel.com/medela-lot-de-3-biberons, baby, product ,2540-993-3708-3.couche lavable.html tires that adapt to milk and can pass the freezer.
Go for a ride by that http://www.lllfrance.org/Feuillets-pour-les-professionnels-de-sante/Expression-et-conservation-du-lait-Travail-et-allaitement.html?q=tire+ Take advantage of milk also to see if there is not a lactation consultant in your corner, you might go see or receive you to find a simpler solution than shooting your milk (hint: look in the yellow pages if he not near you midwife liberal competent nursing, safety reimburses 2 visits post delivery, it could change you life)
I pulled my milk for my two children to make reservations in the freezer. I've kept up to 3 months without any problem, on the advice of my midwife. Just obey the simple rules of hygiene (material clean and wash hands immediately before pulling the milk). We must rapidly freeze and thaw gently in a bain marie. Since I knew that I could not continue breastfeeding it beyond the cover of my work, my children still continued to enjoy my milk a few more weeks. Otherwise you can find tips in pharmacy. it would probably more practical. Good luck. @ Dding: you really need to find someone to advise you and reassure you (a wise woman?), I'm sure you can still use your nipples at least half the time … Make yourself confidence and trust your baby, she will drink what it needs …. knowing that one head to another it can be very variable.
Hello. I experienced exactly the same thing at first birth of my daughter, no nipples, "forced" to breastfeed lag (according to motherhood). It lasted one month, one month and a half before I met someone really qualified lactation. I turned the pump, my daughter has no nipples sucked and I went into a nursing along, like what …. So I have plenty to say. A baby does not need prominent nipples to suckle. It is a misconception, and unfortunately echoed by quite a nursery or midwives. A newborn is capable of a hickey on the arm of an adult, yet devoid of nipple. If your baby has trouble catching the stud the 1st time, you can help by lightly pinching the tip of your womb, history there something beyond. On silicone nipples, do not be too afraid of the lack of stimulation. Indeed, with the ends of silicone breast is stimulated less than "nothing" but the breast pump stimulates much less. Indeed, with the ends of silicone breast is stimulated less than "nothing" but the breast pump stimulates well moinsencore a baby who sucks nipples with plastic, so … There is the physical stimulation but also the hormonal stimulation that requires very close contact with the baby and that no breast pump will never do. To preserve milk: ==> "In the current research, we can say that the milk is preserved: – at room temperature (19-22 °) for 4 to 6 hours (max
– 15 ° for 24 hours – in the refrigerator (0-4 °), up to 8 days – in the frozen compartment of a refrigerator for two weeks – in the compartment 3 stars a fridge freezer for three to four months – in a separate freezer (-18 °), for more than six months. (note these times are not cumulative: you can not leave the milk for example 10 hours at room temperature and three days in the refrigerator and then freeze it for six months). " <==. <== Http://www.lllfrance.org/L-allaitement-dans-la-vie-quotidienne/Conservation-du-lait-maternel.html?q=conservation If it is not too hot, you can transport your milk at room temperature. Otherwise, you can take him in a small cooler or insulated bag. When you shoot your milk exclusively, it is true that the outputs are limited, unless of course to bring your equipment and isolate you find a place to shoot. But you can still express some milk manually to relieve yourself before the next draw. I do not know how long you want to breastfeed, but be aware that lag feedings typically do not last long in duration. The pump does not stimulate enough, quickly lactation no longer follows. It's exhausting, always more reserves for a baby who drinks more and larger quantities. It works quickly to lean, which is very scary. It takes considerable courage and willingness to do "survive" more than 1 month or 2. So I can only. This is why I can quet'encourager to put baby to breast if you want to breastfeed a few months. Apart from that, too bad we did not tick marks on the breasts or a baby clear to see if he has been drinking!
) I think it's a fear common to all new moms … As long as baby is awake, he wets his diapers several times a day and makes a saddle is that it is enough. We must trust and be trusted baby is the key to successful breastfeeding. I advise you to bring an association of breastfeeding support or a lactation consultant who can reassure you and help you effectively. A big cheer for this lag breastfeeding! I know how hard it is, so brave!
I also raised concerns with the medical profession with my nonexistent breasts! Large nipples tits but not like a man even worse! I reflexively pinched the tips of my breasts with his fingers "scissor" to create a sort of teat to facilitate his work and then quickly took the baby to the breast alone. On the one hand because they do it very well, as said before, they manage to suck your arm! and also because by dint of being suck, the nipple has quickly formed a pacifier. But without that, I know many women who use nipples and rubs the breast during feeding for ease ejection of milk. And whatever solution you choose, when you breastfeed you never know how much the baby takes but one thing is certain is that he drinks his fill and if it does not claim that all is well. You would know if she was hungry! And then at the beginning weighed every week, so we know our love if all goes well! Do not stress, breastfeeding can be. You would know if she was hungry! And then at the beginning weighed every week, so we know our love if all goes well! Do not stress, breastfeeding may fairenaturellement brilliantly and if we do not stress too much. Babies know how to do it alone! Breastfeeding and good n'angoisse not all his questions. does what is best for you without listening to what people will say we! For storage, there are indeed some very good sites that provide information with all the details!

Hello it's been more than a week I try to remove the bottles for my baby breastfeed exclusively but I see that it works not because these layers are not wet enough so I'm not going too bad he still has seven months I wanted breastfeeding in months to a year but hey? I'm a little sad and I feel guilty but all I did was for his own good (I was forced to give him additional bib because he was always hungry after I sucked one breast that works) I wanted to thank the moms who gave me advice.
Six months is enough to send him all your anti-bodies and this is essential. Few moms who go so far, no blame is justified. Good day
In my opinion you should continue breast-feeding and bottle-complete if need is what I personally fesais. good luck
7 months is already really great, mine has stopped all alone to feed 2 ½ months after the first bottle and I was really frustrated.
You should not judge on the fact that its layers are wet, you must decide on his hunger. If he claims, should give him food. If you run out of milk, give her a bottle. I was in the same boat as you: I wanted to breastfeed as possible but I did not have enough milk. My baby was a real glutton. So, I give a supplement in the bottle. Very small at first, then more and more important. And, without warning, my lactation stopped and I had to get my baby to bottle in two days. But that did not bother the contrary, she made her nights in a week's time. She was well fed. I still breastfed 3 months. Apparently, this is already sufficient for immune protection almost a year for the baby. In short, all that to say that breastfed have seven months is already great. Nature is well made, if your milk does not increase and your baby is hungry, give him the bottle. It may even have cow's milk at this age, children prefer to milk powder. But if he eats iron (spinach, liver) next.
No you do not particularly blame. 7 months is already very well, congratulations! It is on this should be a little frustrating if you want to go and you can not but you do your best to your child and you're right to go to the bottle if the breast no longer sufficient. That is well above all. I had two children and I have not had the chance to breastfeed, and finally a week after my son because I am a postpartum depression, and my daughter I take my milk for 2 and a half months, I could not put it in because it is a premature born at 6 months pregnant and she was force-fed until his 3 months (too weak to take food by itself before that) So my lactation stopped because her milk is not always obvious … I hope I have better luck baby to nurse 3, which should arrive in early August!
about 6-8 months, dietary diversification, I n'allitais my children in the morning and evening and that until more than a year … so if you want to continue not hesitate … morning and evening it's already great:) And the day I gave milk products, yoghurt, chipmunks etc.
7 months is good. And if you can keep your head in the morning for example, is top
7 months is well! Me I will continue to breastfeed and supplement the bib is not serious …

Hello! My 7 month old still does not sleep through the night …. It wakes us up for over a month every two hours! I breastfeed and it is true that night when you're tired of the reflex is to breastfeed for EVERYONE illico go back to sleep … I heard about the book "sleep, dream and the child" which according to opinion is very good advice. I ordered it but it is out of stock everywhere and I receive it until early April! I will like or that those who read it make me a quick summary of what to do and not do until I receive …. I too want to wait until April to hopefully make better nights: D Thanks in advance!
these are the teeth that grow, check!
hello is your question on the forum Doctissimo, because I saw that moms had read the book you may be talking about that will help its position in the nursing section here is the link http://forum.doctissimo.fr/grossesse -bebe/allaitement/liste_sujet-1.htm
my son has his nights to 5 months and 9 months was over! I woke up to 7 or 8 times a night when he stopped taking bottles … it was hard, very hard! especially when his sister arrived and she too would lie awake at night for his bottle … but not at the same time (otherwise it's not funny!) I tried homeopathy, change the bed room, etc. … magnetizer almost everything but the syrups I've always refused to give … and it only spent about 4 ½ years when I started talking to him before bedtime. . we talked about her day, the next day … etc. But if it were to start again, try the microkini. It told me about it too late but it does wonders around me. The microkini are real therapists who have additional training. They arrive to find and dispose of blocks that have different causes, both physical and psychological … and it's totally appropriate for babies because handling is very sweet. For my part, my other little. For my part, my other petitgarçon stuttered and was still bedwetting at 5 years … the two issues were resolved with 3 sessions. I can only advise to you because if I had around me and it calmed the baby was 5 months old at the time! everything is explained on this site: http://www.microkinesitherapie.com/index.php Good luck for the future.
My daughter has started sleeping through the night until 9 months, a horror, she woke me up several times just to the nipple …. 7months to a lot of things happen, teeth, early fears of the 8th month and there is no real remedies if it is patience. Good luck.
gc in.

but why everyone wants to blame me
you do what you want. babies can grow very well without milk, there is what is on the market. even if breast milk is very good for the newborn. but you have the right to choose. and if that is your choice, everyone should respect it.
Your husband does "not want to leave you if you suck tits.
It does look as you, my sister had a baby and she does not.
s your choice c is too personal to let people think about your personal space j breastfeeding: the first 14 months and my son was 3 weeks I breastfeed and I never preaches the breast because the breast has also stresses the crevice and j in the process so everyone does what they want and you know if you give your breast the baby feels your stress stress and c is not the intent tampers
not guilty, it's silly. " But you lose a delightful experience and contact with your baby you do not end up with breastfeeding bibi. But you must do exactly as you feel. you better be happy with a baby bottle that DMSmal persecuted in his skin by giving Mom's breast. Feeling the baby all your anxieties, he will prefer a Mommy is going well, and a bottle … that's for sure. > Note, the breast that advantage also that you have no dishes to do, it's always hot and ready! lol!
It's your body and your right. I am a childcare assistant training and according to my experience, the better it is breast feeding (breast) or formula (bib) is one who is wanted by the mother. I wish you every happiness with your little one.
It's your choice. Lets talk about the idiots that you culibalisent.
Do not listen to others. It's your choice, your baby, your life, your way of thinking, it does look as you. I like you I did not breastfeed (I even insulted for that) and then when I gave birth so I have seen things differently … Life does not allow me to breastfeed my son because I unfortunately lost but what is absolutely certain is that the next will be breastfed. Now you have the short milk powders that are made for that, they contain everything baby needs. And anyway telling you that everyone will always open your mouth to say something! So much to sort and take only what you want to hear! Good luck!
each makes its choice. It's very good for the child at anti body and nutrients, and also for the mother-child affection. But the child may well grow up without it! Do not judge the choices for everyone is free.
It's your choice, let people talk about is your child not theirs so it's up to you
hello If you do not want anyway you never get it! it is better to give a bottle with love to breastfeed without notice !!!!!!
Anyway, that you want to breastfeed you feel guilty anyway, especially if breastfeeding is "extended". Frankly, do not hesitate to send people on roses!

my daughter was 2 months, I breastfeeding but she lost the weight I have to give extra milk powder at each feeding, but she refuses the bottle, she can not drink, I tried give him a pacifier so that she understands the system but even that it does not. Have you had the same worries? Have you managed to get him to accept?
It is used to suck and she likes it, she didn't want to change to a milk does not know what she is not accustomed to the taste, and she too loves to be with her Mamma:) me when my daughter does not eat, I eat with her mouth jouvre pointing, smiling and expressing that I eat good c. After a moment she dun did the same thing … I show him lexemple basically it works not necessarily the first time but it has borne fruit in the end. Tests at different times of the day and avoid the evening before bed (often children love their parents sendormir)
temperature is probably too hot, try to put it down!
I had the same problem with my daughter, I was breastfeeding and when I give him a bottle of milk but at first she struggled, too, is a habit …. do not worry about it it will be very fast in all cases was the case for me ……… she grumbles at the beginning but she will soon
My tip: enclose the teat tissue (handkerchief for example). The baby will feel more in touch with the rubber and voila …

Hello all, My baby is 4 months under mixed feeding for two months, it's going well, it takes 1-2 bottles a day. I would like to breastfeed my daughter as long as possible, I would like to know, depending on your experience, how many lasted feeding your baby (in course)? when you give him the bottle in parallel. Thank you.
You're not going guy might not believe, but I'm wondering exactly the same question as you.
Very little time for me, about a month. I pulled my milk from the fifth month to better measure the dose he took, under the advice of a doctor who thought he was growing too! Right from the sixth month, it was the end of lactation. You surely know that the baby sucks less less production of prolactin is important. So the baby suckling which produce milk, and you'll give him bottles more your milk will dry up. Even if you pull your milk is sucking that activates production. Nature is well done. But four months of breastfeeding is already great! Yeah, I know … it's difficult, it's a separation, it feels so, we mothers. That said, I am now an old mother, but always remembers that … the baby is 18 years old soon …. 1m87 and 85 kg judo black belt …. it has benefited this small!
For me it lasted about 6 months, he had only the feeding of the morning and evening. And then one day he refused categorically in the evening. we tested several things and did what he wanted was eaten with a spoon! A few weeks later, he sulked more breast morning, it sucked a bit but did not drink hardly anything, so we went to the bottle of my milk first, like he did not want it, the infant formula, like he did not want … Cocoa was added, and there he loved it! he needed to move on! I nursed 10 months and a half in the end, I would have liked more, I would have loved differently but hey we did as we could! He was weaned smoothly, and he decided to put an end to this "adventure", so no regrets! Oh and I think about it, I have a friend who had to work for 2 ½ months of his small, so she pulled her milk and give him a bottle at the nursery. Well at 18 months she just weaned, smooth, probably because of the. Well at 18 months she just weaned, smooth, probably because of her mother's pregnancy lanouvelle! there is no general …
Not very long in my opinion, not trying g mixed feeding .. but after my daughter's pediatrician if the baby gets used to bottle it will sooner or later disown his mother's womb because it has more milk without having to do a lot of effort ..
I made you a star because I can not answer you. It does not match my vision or my experience of breastfeeding.

Still breastfeeding my son and I am pregnant. I remember having very sore breasts during my last pregnancy. I felt that my breasts were only two large hematomas because they were so painful. Now, I do not like this feeling. I do not have breasts strained or painful. Is it related to the fact that I'm still being pregnant? I'm worried because as I had a miscarriage recently, I fear that the absence of symptoms of pregnancy is a harbinger of another miscarriage.
I do not know. I'll put a star in my case some contacts could you learn that.
How much you're pregnant? And you had sore breasts for this pregnancy either before or you have not yet had any pain so far?
It's perfectly normal to have sore breasts at least a 2nd pregnancy because the "work" is done. The various glands and ducts are already "trained" and ready for lactation, which is not the case for a first pregnancy. Mostly it was still less painful when you've already breastfed previously. And when it did not stop breastfeeding, "the factory" is still active, the pain is still so low or nonexistent. By cons during pregnancy, the nipples can become sensitive or painful that may make breastfeeding uncomfortable. Often it takes only a few weeks but sometimes moms are forced to wean their older because they no longer support the contact. Now we must not forget that every pregnancy is different and we do not necessarily have the same symptoms as the previous ones. Your concern is legitimate, but try not too worry, the absence or presence of symptoms is not reliable data. I wish you a wonderful pregnancy!
I'm not a mom yet, but I can tell you that `s because it` s your 2nd child and you dejas alletée which means that the glands have already done their work
